How can I confirm my Order?
Order is confirmed once payment is complete.
How soon should I place an order?
Weekends fill quickly, so it is best to place orders 2-3 weeks in advance. Any last MINUTE orders may not be fulfilled due to overbookinG.
How do I travel with my cake?
Keep it on a flat surface, ideally behind the passenger seat on the floor, to prevent tipping. Please don't balance it on your lap while driving—it's not safe! Bring along a travel buddy to help watch over the cake and keep it steady. It is also super important to make sure your car stays cool, especially on hot days, to avoid melting.
How do I store my cake?
it's best to refrigerate cakes for safekeeping. If storing in the refrigerator overnight, please ensure it is kept away from strong odors like garlic or onions to maintain its original flavor. To optimize taste and texture, remove the cake from the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving. Avoid exposing the cake to direct sunlight or excessive heat to prevent frosting sweating and flowerS wilting.
*Cream cheese buttercream must be refrigerated overnight.
How long will my cake last?
It is recommended to serve your cake as close to pickup as possible to ensure optimal freshness, however, cakes will last up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is offered for cake orders within a 50-mile radius. Exceptions can be made for large orders, please contact order@taylorbaked.co to inquire. Delivery fees are determined based on distance. We request a 1-2 hour window for a delivery time due to traffic being unpredictable. Third parties such as Uber or Task Rabbit may be happily arranged.
